Goodbye Summer, Hello Art Room!

This week my husband and I worked to get the art room up and running for the new school year. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done, but right now it is starting to look beautiful! Makes me wish I was in kindergarten again! Here are the updated pictures:

I can't wait to see the students' faces on August 23rd!

  1. Mrs. Miron, since you decided to follow my blog, I figured out better 'check you out' and I love a lot about your room! The twinkling corner is so pretty and inviting, and I love the rainbow curtained area too. I'm curious - your colorful tablecloths - are they there all the time? Hard to keep clean or do you have to replace them frequently?

Now I have to check out some of your older posts...

  2. The tablecloths are there most of the time. When we do painting projects with tempera paint, they are removed. We do not have a kiln in our school, so most of our projects are fairly clean. I bought the tablecloths with the cloth backing. They are a little more, but they last a lot longer.
